What does it mean
to know God?
Knowing God begins with a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. It means receiving His love and forgiveness, trusting His Word, and learning to walk with Him each day.
Faith is a journey of growing closer to God—and you do not have to walk it alone.
Jesus makes a new beginning possible
Sin separates us from God, and we cannot restore that relationship through our own efforts. Jesus died for our sins and rose again, making forgiveness and new life possible.
Salvation is God’s gift, received through faith in Jesus Christ—not something we earn.

How do I respond?
You can turn to God, confess your need for His forgiveness, and place your trust in Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9–10 speaks of believing in your heart and confessing Jesus as Lord.
If you are ready, you can speak to God in your own words. This prayer can help you begin:
God, thank You for loving me. I confess that I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again. I put my trust in Him as my Lord and Saviour. Help me turn away from sin and follow You. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit as I begin this new life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
The prayer is an expression of your faith. You can speak honestly to God; you do not need perfect words.
